The 6th newly recorded album of Ira B. Liss Big Band Jazz Machine. Ira Liss, saxophone, built this band from a student band at San Diego State University 40 years ago. This album contains the title music (7), which uses Klezmer (yidishkeyt) music as a motif, Chick Corea (2), Ellington (4), and the cover of Clifford Brown’s masterpiece (10) featuring a female vocalist and sounds gorgeous. Nathan East, the guest player, is amazing. This is a fantastic big band jazz album with a swing-feel coming from a thick ensemble and you can enjoy without any need for convincing.
